STEVEN ROGERS WILL BE THE VOICE FOR BABIES ON THEIR NINE MONTH JOURNEY TO THEIR MOTHER'S ARMS.
As an elected official, I recognize that I have a duty and obligation to represent the best interests of the people of New Jersey, which includes babies on their nine month journey to his/her mother's arms.
To begin with, I firmly believe that the law of God with regard to life is a higher law for elected officials to follow. That law is clearly stated in two Bible verses that make clear to me that life begins at conception and that I have a duty to protect that life.
Psalm 139:13 "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb." Jeremiah 1:5; "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet to the nations."
Second, I do not use the word "fetus." A baby is a baby. A human being! Hence, the baby in the mother's womb has the same constitutional protections every other citizen has-(from conception).
Also, I do not use the word "pro-choice" because the baby has no choice.
Our Declaration of Independence makes our duty and obligation as elected officials very clear. "We hold these truths to be self-evident that ALL MEN are created equal- (ALL! Includes unborn children), that they are endowed by their Creator (GOD) with certain unalienable RIGHTS, that among these are LIFE, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."
I have met a number of women who had the opportunity to abort their children because of a number of issues they were challenged with. These women decided not to go that route and instead gave birth. Not one of them regretted their decision, including those women who had children with medical challenges.
All of the above makes it very clear to me what I must do as Governor of New Jersey to protect the babies on their journey to their new home here in New Jersey.
As NJ Governor, all funding to any organization that advocates abortion will be ceased.
